Capt. Dave Hunt’s FLY FISHING EQUIPMENT & ADDITIONAL INFO

SilverKingFlatsBoatFlyFishingReady

We’ll be fishing out of a 16’6” SilverKing flats skiff “Tailbone” that was custom designed for flyfishing in South Florida.  This boat is tried and true and floats skinny yet gives a dry ride.  Its powered with a 90 hp Yamaha Outboard that’s an industry standard and proven to get us out and back from a day on the water.

Tailbone” is fully equipped with all the fly and spin tackle needed for our trip—however you are more than welcome to bring your own gear.   I utilize all name brand gear and on a normal day on the water we’ll be carrying 6-9 rods and reels prerigged with leaders and flies for the anticipated day’s events. These will range from 6 wt to 12 wt rods. Spinning tackle will likewise be at the ready.
